Downdraft Tables & Booths for Aluminum Dust Collection

Aluminum dust must be treated with care and respect. Aluminum particles - when in dust, powder, or flake forms from operations such as grinding, finishing, polishing, etc. - may be suspended as a dust cloud in air and consequently may ignite and cause serious damage. If the dust cloud is unconfined the effect is simply one of flash fire. If, however, the ignited dust cloud is at least partially confined, the heat of combustion may result in an explosion. Aluminum dust must never be mixed with steel or other ferrous dusts or with other potentially explosive or flammable dusts. Meets NFPA 484 (2006) when properly used and maintained.

The DualDraw aluminum dust collection downdraft tables and downdraft booths have been designed to safely capture potentially explosive aluminum dust in a cost-effective and easy-to-maintain manner. Each downdraft unit incorporates the patented DualDraw airflow design of the perforated surface and signature vented back with a filter system specifically designed for safely capturing aluminum dust. Flat top downdraft tables for aluminum dust capture are also available as standard items.
